Thanks! I did find a weekend class at a local art colony but it sold out within minutes. Also, when I was "going down the rabbit hole" this morning I found a link to a site that auctions "public surplus" here in the US. One of the categories was scrap metal so if I learn how to weld, I may have to go back and watch these auctions.
